TEEN ARTS + TECH ENROLLMENT

Enrollment for our Spring 2022 semester (Jan 24 – May 12) is now open!

The WMCAT Teen Arts + Tech Program connects Grand Rapids Public high school students to incredible experiences in visual arts and digital media. This semester, we are excited to expand these opportunities to teens in grades 9-12 currently attending Wyoming Public Schools, Godfrey-Lee Public Schools, Godwin Heights Public Schools, and Kentwood Public Schools. WMCAT is the place for students from GRPS and nearby districts to come together, elevate voice and create art.

High schoolers in the above districts are eligible to register for our tuition-free afterschool studio experiences where we encourage creative expression, connect you to teens with similar interests, and support you through your high school journey.

To enroll, you must:

  • Be in grades 9-12 and currently attend Kentwood Public Schools, Godfrey-Lee Public Schools, Godwin Heights Public Schools, Grand Rapids Public Schools, or Wyoming Public Schools.
  • Attend the Open Enrollment event (January 12, see information below) with the enrollment form for your school district (below) signed by a parent/guardian. Both are required for priority enrollment consideration.
  • WMCAT staff will notify all students to confirm their placement before the first day of class.
