Spring Tour 2018
We went on tour! This Spring, WMCAT’s music production team made stops throughout the city to elevate student voice and support the nationally-recognized Teen Arts + Tech Program.
WMCAT on Tour at the Pyramid Scheme
At our culminating event on May 3, teen artists took the stage at a community-centered, all-ages show at The Pyramid Scheme to perform with the mentorship and accompaniment of professional musicians, producers, and support crew.
The student showcase of talent featured an opening set by DJ Trigger and performances by WMCAT teen artists from Grand Rapids Public high schools, Switch Pit from Forest Hills, All of the Above Hip Hop from Ottawa Hills High School, Girls Rock! Grand Rapids, and professional, local musicians.
